Ryan’s Testimony

Even though Ryan was only seven years old, he already had a meaningful relationship with Christ.

He had complete trust, confidence and peace in his faith. Examples abound of how Ryan demonstrated his faith prior to becoming sick and throughout his illness. Just one example of this was when just days before Ryan relapsed, a young boy in the hospital passed away. When Ryan was told of the boy’s death, he commented to his Dad and a nurse; “What a wonderful thing! He’s in heaven. I can’t wait to get there, too!”

Jesus loves you.

To begin a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, you must be willing to:

Realize that God loves you and that you are a sinner.
Repent for your sins.
Receive Jesus into your life as your Savior and Lord.

Have you ever received Christ as your personal Lord and Savior? If you would like to, pray this to the God who loves you.

Dear Father,

I know that I am a sinner and need your forgiveness.  I believe Christ died on the cross in my place, paying the penalty for my sin.  I believe Christ was raised from the dead on the third day.  I am willing to turn from my sin.  I now invite Jesus Christ into my heart and life as my personal Savior.  I am willing, by your help, to follow and obey Christ as the Lord of my Life.  Amen.

After you have prayed this prayer, seek out a friend in Christ at a local church where you can learn more about Jesus.

"I join you in thanking our Heavenly Father for the assurance that Ryan is now safe and whole in His presence. What a brave little boy your son was! It’s obvious that he had a faith and an understanding of the things of God that extended well beyond his seven years of age. Even in his homegoing, Ryan’s commitment to Jesus was an example and testimony to those around him. What an incredibly significant legacy for such a young boy to leave behind".
